2nd Annual National Night Out & Free Swim Event
WOW! Our 2nd Annual CAHOA I-VI Free Pool Party was a HUGE success! Several hundred Country Aire residents descended on our Country Aire pool and had a wonderful time on Tuesday, August 1st from 6:00P-9:00PM. The laughter and shrieks of joy coming from the young kids at the pool helped create an exceptional festive atmosphere! The free food of hot dogs, a bag of chips, and bottled water from the Coney Depot was a major hit with the huge crowd. Henry, the owner of the Coney Depot reported that he served more than 400 hot dogs! The free food was compliments of Kinetic by Windstream, as was the wonderful Balloon Artist who was swamped with kids wanting their personal balloon creation. The Kinetic by Windstream trailer was very popular too, as they had some great games, prizes, and in-depth information about what their plans for working within the Country Aire addition is and will be. Compliments also go out to the many Broken Arrow policemen, firefighters, and EMT personnel that joined us, plus giving tours of their police vehicles, fire trucks, and ambulances, plus answering any and all questions from our residents. Also, a special shout out to our Director of Broken Arrow Parks and Recreation Matt Hendren and his staff for all the hard work they did in making this event run smoothly and safely, it truly was an exceptional night for the Country Aire residents who attended, as we also had a star-studded array of our Community Leaders join us in talking with, and answering questions. Those in the Community leadership that "Joined and Partied" with us at our Country Aire Park and Pool were: Our Mayor Deborah Wimpee, our Vice Mayor Christi Gillespie, our City Manager Mike Spurgeon, our personal District 2 City Counselor Lisa Ford, our Police Chief Brandon Berryhill, our Fire Chief Jeremy Moore, and our Oklahoma State Representative Ross Ford, and our BA Police Community Relations Director Ethan Hutchins. If you missed out on this spectacular event, we are sorry. For the hundreds who participated...Thank You! It was a Spectacular Event for Country Aire Estates I-VI residents!
